- Google Flights – Easy flight search tool. I always start my search process here, then cross-check on airlines websites or another search tool to make sure I get the best option!
- Skyscanner – Simple, trustworthy and always up-to-date. This site allows you to find the cheapest flights, hotels & car hire. There’s also a price-change alert.
- Expedia – Another popular site for flights search. When you join the expedia rewards programme, you get airline miles on top of expedia rewards points!
Transport
- Omio – It’s a platform on which users can search for and book travel tickets. Trains, buses, and flights in Europe are compared in one search.
- Flixbus – One of the best, convenient, low-cost European bus travel. I use it regularly in Portugal and also to travel to Spain.
- Rentalcars.com – One of the biggest online car hire companies. I’ve worked for them 3 years. Working with a variety of suppliers and with a 24/7 customer service, they have good problem-solving service, reducing the chances of your trip getting ruined.
Accommodation
Booking.com – My go-to for hotel searches around the world. They have over 2 million+ properties in 220+ countries—including boutique stays, hostels, and luxury properties.
Airbnb – Whether you want a treehouse or a nice apartment for a friends gathering, Airbnb has a global range of options available where you’ll be safe!
Trivago – Deals from your favourite booking sites. All in one place (300 booking sites for more than 5.0 million hotels and other types of accommodation in over 190 countries).
TRAVEL INSURANCE
A good travel insurance plan can cover things like lost luggage, theft, flight cancellations, emergency medical care, Covid-19. Don’t travel without it!
