Hi! I am Andreia, marketer by profession, explorer by heart. I started travelling when I was 17 years old. Lived, worked and travelled in different countries ever since then.
Inspired by the book “The Alchemist”, my blog describes the way I travel, through wanderlust and self-discovery.
The name of the blog is inspired by the book “The Alchemist” from Paulo Coelho which tells the story of a young Andaluzian shepherd boy who sells his flock and goes on a journey across the Arabic desert to find a treasure supposedly located near the pyramids of Egypt. During his journey, he learns to pursue his dreams by following what his heart desires.
Through some travelling and while reading this book, I realised that travel made me feel closer to my “personal legend”. This project was born from the desire to be closer to the language of the world, follow our dreams and learn about ourselves along the way.
Almost as important as this concern with self-discovery is the desire to inspire women to find the confidence to travel, either alone or with other women. But doing this is something difficult to explain through words, you have to act! Action is what makes learning possible.
